Exposing NXIVM

This short brand documentary tells the story of NXIVM and how the Times Union exposed one of the nation's most riveting cult cases. The Hearst Creative team on the eve of Raniere's conviction created this short documentary to commemorate the Albany Times Union’s 20 year coverage that ultimately led to his investigation and indictment. This film was the first media piece produced on the matter, predating the HBO, CBC, and STARZ documentaries.

I managed pre-production logistics (talent bookings, location scouting, shoot scheduling, and interview prep/question drafting) as well as supervised the post production process (collaborating over cuts with the editor, sourcing and licensing assets, as well as collecting and implementing stakeholder feedback).
