From the Founders

This short film introduces Level Up Ventures as a mission-driven investment vehicle aimed at leveling the field for Black and Latino entrepreneurs. Testimonials from startup founders discuss the funding gap that exists within the VC world while highlighting Level Up’s founder-first approach, differentiating it from other VC funds. This film was subsequently turned into a 6-part LinkedIn video series, showcasing each entrepreneur's founder story (e.g. OptionsMD and EncounterAI).

I collaborated with Level Up’s staff to develop this short film and subsequent video series as well as managed the pre through post production processes. Duties included: scheduling shoots/crew/talent, directing production/conducting interviews, supervising film cuts, and managing stakeholder feedback. Additionally, I edited the final narrative of this video together, passing it off to an assistant editor for sound and color correction.
